Email Forwarding and Aliases

Forward emails and create aliases.

Before you start: forwarders, catch-all addresses and aliases can be added to a domain once that same domain has at least one mailbox. A mailbox on a different domain does not count. They are not billed.

Email Forwarders

Forward emails from one address to another, including an outside address such as Gmail.

Setup:

  1. Go to Email Forwarders
  2. Click Create Email Forwarder
  3. Enter source address
  4. Enter destination address
  5. Save

Example: sales@domain.comjohn@domain.com

A forwarded message shows the original sender's name followed by "via" your domain, and replies go back to the original sender.

Catch-All

Forward all unmatched emails to one mailbox.

Setup:

  1. Go to Email Catch-All
  2. Select domain
  3. Choose destination mailbox
  4. Save

Example: *@domain.com → admin@domain.com

Email Aliases

Multiple addresses for one mailbox.

Setup:

  1. Go to Email Aliases
  2. Click Add Alias
  3. Enter alias address
  4. Select destination mailbox
  5. Save
