Sending Attachments

How to Attach Files:

1. Compose new email
2. Click 📎 Attach button
3. Browse and select file(s)
4. Wait for upload
5. Send email

Attachment Best Practices:

• ✅ Keep files under 10MB when possible
• ✅ Compress large files (ZIP)
• ✅ Use descriptive file names
• ✅ Mention attachment in email body
• ✅ Scan for viruses before sending
• ❌ Avoid program files such as .exe: many receiving servers reject them
• ❌ Avoid multiple large files

How to Download:

1. Open email with attachment
2. See attachment icon/list
3. Click to download
4. Save to your device
5. Scan with antivirus

• ✅ Check file extension
• ✅ Scan with antivirus on your own device
• ✅ Verify sender if unexpected
• ❌ Don't open suspicious files

For Files Over 25MB:

• Google Drive: Share link
• Dropbox: Share link
• WeTransfer: Free transfers
• OneDrive: Microsoft users

Troubleshooting

Attachment Won't Send:

• File too large (compress or use cloud)
• File type refused by the receiving server (share a cloud link instead)
• Poor internet connection
• Server timeout

Can't Download Attachment:

• Check internet connection
• Try different browser
• Disable popup blocker
• Ask sender to resend
