Setting Up Email on Android

Follow these simple steps to add your AtrioMail email to your Android phone or tablet:

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• Your email address (example: you@yourdomain.com)
• Your email password
• A Wi-Fi or mobile data connection

Method 1: Using Gmail App (Recommended)

Step 1: Open Gmail App

1. Open the Gmail app (red and white envelope icon)
2. Tap your profile picture in the top right
3. Tap Add another account

Step 2: Choose Account Type

1. Select Other from the list
2. Enter your full email address
3. Tap Next

Step 3: Choose Account Type

1. Select Personal (IMAP)
2. Enter your email password
3. Tap Next

Step 4: Incoming Server Settings

Enter these settings exactly:

• Server: mail.atriomail.com
• Port: 993
• Security type: SSL/TLS
• Username: Your full email address
• Password: Your email password

Tap Next

Step 5: Outgoing Server Settings

Enter these settings:

• SMTP Server: mail.atriomail.com
• Port: 587
• Security type: STARTTLS
• Require sign-in: Check this box
• Username: Your full email address
• Password: Your email password

Tap Next

Step 6: Account Options

1. Choose how often to sync email (recommended: Every 15 minutes)
2. Check boxes for what you want to sync:
   • ☑ Sync Email
   • ☑ Notify me when email arrives
3. Tap Next

Step 7: Name Your Account

1. Enter your name (how it appears when you send emails)
2. Give your account a name (example: "Work Email")
3. Tap Next

Method 2: Using Samsung Email App

Step 1: Open Email App

1. Open the Email app (blue envelope icon)
2. If this is your first account, you'll see the setup screen
3. If not, tap Menu → Settings → Add account

Step 2: Enter Email and Password

1. Enter your email address
2. Enter your password
3. Tap Manual setup

Step 3: Choose IMAP

1. Select IMAP account

Step 4: Incoming Settings

• IMAP server: mail.atriomail.com
• Security type: SSL/TLS
• Port: 993
• Username: Your full email address
• Password: Your email password

Tap Next

Step 5: Outgoing Settings

• SMTP server: mail.atriomail.com
• Security type: STARTTLS
• Port: 587
• Username: Your full email address
• Password: Your email password

Tap Next

Step 6: Sync Settings

1. Choose sync frequency (recommended: 15 minutes)
2. Set how many days of email to sync
3. Tap Next

Step 7: Finish Setup

1. Enter your name
2. Tap Done

Test Your Email

1. Open your email app
2. Pull down to refresh
3. Try sending a test email to yourself
4. Check if you receive it within a few minutes
