Changing Your Mailboxes and Storage
AtrioMail has no plans or plan tiers to upgrade or downgrade. You pay per mailbox, so you change your bill by changing how many mailboxes you have and how much storage each one has.
How pricing works
- Each mailbox is $1.39 per month and includes 15 GB of storage.
- Extra storage is sold per mailbox in 5 GB blocks at $0.60 per block per month. A partial block rounds up to a whole block.
- Extra storage is billed on the mailbox size you set, not on how much mail is actually stored.
- Domains, aliases, forwarders and catch-all addresses are not billed. Aliases, forwarders and catch-alls can be added to a domain once that same domain has at least one mailbox.
Adding mailboxes or storage
- More mailboxes: go to Email Mailboxes and create a new mailbox. Your first mailbox starts your subscription through Stripe checkout.
- More storage: open the mailbox under Email Mailboxes and raise Disk space in its Storage section in 5 GB steps, then click Save changes.
Removing mailboxes or storage
- Fewer mailboxes: delete the mailboxes you no longer need under Email Mailboxes. A mailbox is billed until it is deleted: deactivating it does not stop its charge. Copy any mail you want to keep before you delete a mailbox.
- Less storage: open the mailbox and lower Disk space in its Storage section. Make sure the mail already stored fits within the smaller size.
How changes are billed
Mailboxes and extra storage are billed together on one monthly subscription. Adding or removing mailboxes or storage shows up on your next monthly invoice. There are no partial-month charges and no credit for a month already paid.
The Subscription page shows your monthly cost, and its Manage Subscription button opens your cards and invoices.
