How Your Billing and Limits Work

There are no plan tiers to choose from. You pay per mailbox, per month, and your account grows as you add mailboxes.

What you pay

  • $1.39 per mailbox per month, with 15 GB of storage included in each mailbox.
  • Extra storage per mailbox in 5 GB blocks at $0.60 per block per month, up to 100 GB per mailbox.
  • Domains, aliases, forwarders and catch-all addresses are not billed. Aliases, forwarders and catch-alls can be added to a domain once that same domain has at least one mailbox.
  • There is no minimum number of mailboxes and no long-term contract.

See your costs

  1. Open Subscription in the control panel.
  2. The page itemizes your monthly cost and shows domains and aliases as free.
  3. Manage Subscription opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can update your card and see your invoices.

See your usage

  1. Open Email Mailboxes.
  2. The Quota (GB) column shows each mailbox's size and how full it is; hover it to see, for example, "Used: 12.50 GB of 15.00 GB".
  3. Open Email Domains for the list of your domains and their status.

What limits your account

  • Mailbox storage. A mailbox that is full cannot receive new mail until you free up space or add a 5 GB block with the mailbox's Disk space setting.
  • Security checks. Each new domain goes through a short automated security check before it can be used, and some accounts are asked to verify their identity, for example once an account reaches 10 mailboxes.
  • Per-domain caps. Caps on mailbox count and total storage for a domain can be set through the REST API or the WHMCS module. They are not set in the panel. A request over the cap is refused, and a cap cannot be lowered below current usage.

Adding more

Create another mailbox from Email Mailboxes, or raise Disk space on an existing one. Both changes appear on your next monthly invoice. There are no partial-month charges and no credit for a month already paid, and a mailbox is billed until it is deleted (deactivating it does not stop the charge).
