AtrioMail Pricing and Plans
Pricing is simple: you pay per mailbox, per month. There is no minimum number of mailboxes and no long-term contract, so you can start with a single mailbox.
Mailbox pricing
$1.39 per mailbox per month, which includes:
- 15 GB of storage in each mailbox (it is included per mailbox, not a shared pool)
- IMAP, POP3 and SMTP access with encrypted connections
- Webmail, so you can read and send mail from a browser
- Works with standard mail apps (Outlook, Thunderbird, the iPhone and Android mail apps)
- Spam filtering on incoming mail
- Outgoing mail delivered through Amazon SES, DKIM-signed for your own domain once its SES records are in DNS
Domains, aliases, forwarders and catch-all addresses are not billed. Aliases, forwarders and catch-alls can be added to a domain once that same domain has at least one mailbox (a mailbox on a different domain does not count).
Extra storage
Extra storage is sold per mailbox in 5 GB blocks at $0.60 per block per month, up to 100 GB per mailbox (the panel maximum). A partial block rounds up to a whole block.

Storage is billed on the mailbox size you set, not on how much mail is actually stored. You can add or remove blocks at any time with the Disk space setting on the mailbox's edit page, and you cannot reduce a mailbox below the space it is already using.
Billing
- Monthly billing. Mailboxes and extra storage are billed together on one monthly subscription.
- Card payments. Payments are by card through Stripe's own checkout page, so card details never reach our servers.
- Changes appear on the next invoice. Adding or removing mailboxes or storage shows up on your next monthly invoice. There are no partial-month charges and no credit for a month already paid.
- A mailbox is billed until it is deleted. Deactivating a mailbox does not stop its charge.
- No setup fee for mailboxes, domains or migrations, and no cancellation fee.
- No free trial. Creating an account is free and needs no card. You can add domains before paying anything, and each new domain goes through a short automated security check. Creating your first mailbox starts a subscription through Stripe checkout.
The Subscription page in the control panel itemizes your monthly cost and shows domains and aliases as free. Its Manage Subscription button opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can update your card and see your invoices.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change storage later? Yes. Add or remove 5 GB blocks at any time with the mailbox's Disk space setting. The change appears on your next monthly invoice.
What happens if a mailbox fills up? When a mailbox is full it cannot receive new mail until you free up space or add storage.
Are there setup fees? No setup fee for mailboxes, domains or migrations.
Is migration charged separately? No. IMAP migration is built into the panel and has no charge. You pay only for the mailboxes you migrate into.
Are refunds available? Service already billed is not refunded, except duplicate or unauthorized charges reported to us within 7 days. There is no cancellation fee. Account data is deleted on cancellation, so move your mail out before you cancel.
