Email Client Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for email client issues.
Can't Connect
- Verify the server address is exactly mail.atriomail.com
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the port numbers: IMAP 993 (SSL/TLS), POP3 995 (SSL/TLS), SMTP 587 (STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL)
- Check your firewall or network is not blocking those ports
Authentication Failed
- Use your full email address as the username
- Check the password (no leading or trailing spaces)
- Make sure the mailbox still exists in Email Mailboxes
- Reset the password: open the mailbox in Email Mailboxes and use Reset Password, then update it in every app
Can't Send Email
- Verify the SMTP server is mail.atriomail.com
- Check the outgoing port (587 with STARTTLS, or 465 with SSL)
- Verify SMTP authentication is enabled
- Use the same username and password as for incoming mail
Emails Not Syncing
- Check your internet connection
- Verify the account is set up as IMAP, not POP3 (POP3 downloads to one device only)
- Refresh manually, then restart the email client
- Remove and re-add the account if it still does not sync
Certificate Errors
- Do not accept a certificate warning
- Check the server address matches mail.atriomail.com exactly, with no extra prefix such as "imap."
- Update your email client and your device's operating system
- If the warning stays, contact support before you continue

Tip: most issues turn out to be incorrect server settings.
